Title: forest color

I am using forest color to add variation to leaves. I have it set up to get id from element and have the item - element variation slider all the way to the right. The first few frames of the animation render correctly but then it switches to variation by item. Any idea what could cause that?

It is clearly a bug. I can reproduce it here, although the problem seems limited to Mental Ray.

Please, hold on. We are investigating this issue to provide a fix.

Ok, just fixed. Since there was a couple of critical bugs pending, we have released a maintenance patch:
