3dsmax locks up (license i guess)

Hi,

all new just installed license server and tried one of the two seats on max 2015.

Sometimes when i click the forest object or just return to work with the scene after a while, the whole computer locks up. Like it is checking the license (it properly is!).
First max freezes, after a while even the mouse cursor. It checks out fine and works - maybe 1-2 minutes later.

Also on a blank scene it takes a while to access the forest menu.

The license server has firewall port 16200 opened and no interfeiring software that / anti-virus / firewall or whatever.

Any ideas? a few hours in, and already getting very frustrated with the entire system lock-up.

Please try setting the IP address of the server, rather than finding it automatically. This may help in case the delay is caused by the find server function, DNS errors and others.

It can be done from Start Menu->Itoo Software->Forest Pack Pro->Change License mode, as shown here:



If that doesn't help, please send us the server debug log, as described here.
