Title: forest custom edit missplacement

Hello community, it's my first post on the forum regarding an error i'm getting on a scene that i've never experienced before. I have a surface that im using the add feature in the custom edit rollout, but im having problems with the position of the objects placed, on perspective viewport the added meshes are not placed where i click, if im in top view it does place the model where i click but the model doesn't stick to the surface. I already make sure that the surface has good coordinates and gizmo (reset xform) but its still the same,

Would You please attach Your example surface so we can check why that is happening.
