Title: Forest LOD Question on the Normal Scatter setup beforehand?

I have watched the Forest LOD Quick Video Tutorial.

Once you have set up you Forest LOD - Added your trees etc... you then select a normal Forest scatter into the LOD.

The tutorial does not mention how the normal Forest Scatter is set up before hand. Do I just set it up as normal? What do I add, the trees I add to the LOD? Can someone explain.

I think what is throwing me out is everything is being showed as billboards from the LOD?

Ok, I understand it now.

You set up the LOD. You add the Trees, Low, Med, High etc.... THEN you set up your normal forest scatter with the LOD selected as the distribution object. Set up the Normal Forest Scatter way you want it to look as per normal. You then go back to the LOD and amend for just LOD purposes.

I felt the tutorial skipped over this a little or, I am a little slow this morning.

That's it. "Forest LOD" is used a standard Custom Object. You can change their properties, before or after assigning it to Forest, it's indifferent.
