Author Topic: create a item in library with a .max file including 2 objects and vray fur  (Read 1415 times)

Hello Itoo Forum,
I dont know if there's already a topic about my problem...but I created an object in 3ds max which includes 2 poly models  and some vray fur applied on one of them to simulate the moss (2 different barks coming from megascan) .
 I would like to know if it's possible to create a new item in library for that object and all his attributes (especially with the vray fur ).

Hi Vincent,

I'm afraid, that’s currently not possible – unfortunately, that's the actual limitation of the Library Browser.

Let me mention, that any Forest object can be used as an XRef Object / XRef Scene. In case you'll be using it as the XRef Object, I would suggest you have both Display Influences and Select Influences selected in the XRef Merge window (as this will bring to your new scene also all objects needed to rebuild the Forest object).
