Problem with deadline clipping forest.
« on: December 13, 2018, 01:20:41 PM »
I have submitted my job to a render farm that uses deadline and my renders are not clipping the forest pack items in front of the camera whilst on my workstation everything is correct. I have tried setting the camera to auto assign and directly assigned a camera but still no improvement can any body please help?

Sorry to hear you're facing those troubles. Please double check, if you're using the Camera - Distance Falloff - Density/Scale feature or not (when rendering a "walk-through" animations, this feature shouldn't be used to prevent any troubles). As mentioned in our on-line reference guide:

"Be careful if you use falloffs with camera motion, because items may appear or disappear suddenly (the distance to camera changes when moving)."

Which version are You using?
We have Fixed in version 6.0.8: Camera in Deadline render jobs is not updated, when using "Camera->Auto assign to active view".

NOTE:: to make it work, be sure to select a Camera as current view, when render job is submitted to Deadline. It WILL FAIL if current view is a not a camera (as perspective, top view, etc.)
