Title: Forest on ID

Is there a way to apply forest on a whole object/surface, but instances will be generated only on a specific ID?

Yes, we added that feature in FP 4.3. The ID can be defined in each area using Areas->Surface Mat.ID (http://docs.itoosoft.com/display/FORESTPACK/Areas#Areas-TolimitthescatterusingmaterialIDs).
