How to tell which preset is used for a forest?
« on: August 19, 2020, 03:08:43 PM »
Is there a way to show (or otherwise find out) which preset from a library is used for a forest?

For example, when creating a new forest I use a preset 'unkempt lawn AIO 1 (large)', but the name for this preset doesn't seem to be showing up in the properties somewhere. That makes it difficult to figure out which preset from the library was used in the scene.

Am I overlooking something here?

Hi

Sadly, there is no way to read that data. You can manually rename ForestObject to represent selected preset.

Ok...thanx for the quick reply. Too bad this information isn't available. Will use it via rename for the time being.

No news on this. There is no plan to change it either.
