I had a project in which I altered the texture of forest pro trees via the material editor using the color correction map. I got all the trees and grass the way I wanted them to be, and it rendered fine. At some point I had to go to another project so I set the project folder to that other project. Later setting the project folder back to the initial project (the one with Forest Pro assets) resulted in all the changes I made to the texture to revert back to their preset state.
When I eyedropper the material that is on the grass it seems to make a new texture from the old altered one, but it also has all the color correction maps and simply not express them anymore.
