Include Issue - ForestPro 3.3.5b
« on: November 05, 2010, 11:11:39 AM »
Hi.

I´ve got a problem in my project with include in area's field.

I´m using a multi polyline to define the include area of my forest, but i notice that sometimes, the trees inside that closed spline disapperared. Then when i change that spline vertex or some properties in forest object the trees show up again, then it disappeared again.

Any clues how to solve my problem?

Thanks.

In Forest 3.3.5b we introduced spline hierarchy, so any inclusion spline inside other, is converted to a exclude one (to make holes and voids in the distribution). Maybe this is affecting to your scene, please check if you have nested splines. To do this try to apply an capping or a extrude modifier to check if the inclusion areas are converted correctly to geometry.

If this is not the case, please send us the scene with only splines and essential objects to support@itoosoft.com to check it.
