OK directories look correct now, the legacy subfolders have been removed. This has plagued me for years. Not sure why those sub folders were maintained. Should be good to go now. Thanks!

I'm having a problem related t this thread. I had a previous project that was using all the legacy map subfolders that are referenced above.

users/me/AppData/local/forest pack pro/maps/ Classic, HShadows, Presets and Standard

Since I deleted those legacy directories and now have the new and correct path of only users/me/AppData/local/forest pack pro/maps - now I need to make some revisions and the forest objects can't find the maps cause the old directories don't exist. When I look at the forest object material for preset meadow and others , the material map just say jpeg an no named file is even present it's like all the map names have been stripped form the forest material. So, just including the new paths does no help because now the forest object doesn't even know what map file to look for let alone what directory it might reside in.

Any ideas on how to fix this for this scene that was done a few months ago prior to me"fixing" the forest pack directory problem described above?

Thanks in advance for any help... I need it.

Hi,

I'm not sure why the texture file names might have been lost. If you can remember which presets you used, then a quick solution might be to create a new Forest Object in the scene and reimport them one at a time ensuring that the Library Browser option On Duplicate Material > Replace From Library is enabled. This should replace the problematic materials in the scene with the originals.

I hope that helps,
Paul
