Title: ForrestIvy
Post by: JG_archviz on October 14, 2024, 08:41:42 am
How you assign Object-Ids to forest. ivy "models"? You can't select forrest-custom objects like in Forrest Pack, also the models are not showing in "forest-templates".

I guess you need to assign an Object ID to Forrest Ivy just like with RailClone? And seperate different Parts of those Ivy-Models via Material-IDs?

Hi,

For imported presets, used models are embedded. However, you can use the Extract Model to Scene button (https://docs.itoosoft.com/forestpack/forest-ivy/leaves-rollout#1---add-models) at any time to place a copy of the model into your scene, which can then be adjusted as needed. I hope this helps!

Best regards,

Ahh thank you - yes this might help in some situations.
So i guess the tech behind Forrest Ivy is comparable to Rail-Clone... as managing it is basically like in RailClone.

Its a great tool by the way to use now - specially to add various creepers other than with grow-fx.
