FP is faster with proxy or geometry?

As in subject. FP is faster with proxy or geometry? Ive read somewhere that it is faster with geometry not converted to proxy but is it true?

Hi,

Please check following FAQ post "Should I use meshes or proxies with Forest in V-Ray?" for a brief list of pros and cons between meshes / proxies (internally all items are converted to native V-Ray's instances).
