I'm using an animated texture to drive the scaling of buildings in a city. Basically they are scaling up quickly along the Z axis with a small overshoot/bounce. I'm using a V-Ray distance Tex and an output map to control the animation. When rendering with motion blur there is no motion blur on the forest objects. Is there a way to make this work?

Hi Torgeir,

Using any of Animation modes would be recommendable to get samples needed for the motion blur reconstruction - like animate the scale of the Custom Object and use, for example, the Frame From Map mode.

I would suggest you check the "Animating in Forest Pack" tutorial, where you can find a detailed explication of available Animation modes. There are multiple possible ways and probably using the Frame From Map as mentioned above would be the easiest to set it up.

Hope that helps.

Best regards,
