Particle flow mode issue
« on: April 18, 2023, 09:54:56 AM »
Hi there.
I'm just trying to use the Pflow mode with a forest object, but I have this issue: I want to use as geometry a cylinder and a cone, but it comes out that some particles show only the cylinder, while others show the cylinder and a cone overlapped (see enclosed picture).

Why this behavior? I would be able to have randomly distributed cones and cylinder, but just one object for each particles (as it is when I use standard distribution method like image or path).

Can some one help me?
Thanks, cheers

Hi, thanks for the question. It could be that you have particles on top of one another. If you can upload the sample file I'll be happy to take a closer look.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul, you'll find here enclosed the max file with the whole setup.
I'm not so expert in Pflow, probably there is something wrong in my setup...
Let me know!

Thanks

Thanks for reporting this and the file. I've checked it out and your setup is correct, it appears there may be a bug in Forest Pack that I could reproduce with PFlow and TyFlow. We're looking into it.

Much appreciated,

Paul
