Inherit wire colour as colour ID
« on: June 13, 2018, 01:37:11 PM »
Is there a way to do this? When adding a large number of geometry items which are already grouped according to their materials with a wire colour for each species, as far as I can see, it's necessary to go through and re-assign the colour ID in FP into these groups to match as FP assigns each item a seperate, random colour ID on import. This is very time consuming, made worse by the fact that the geometry panel often isn't big enough to view the whole name of the geo item.

Please try attached script.

Edit. I updated it. Its colors components were off by one color value.
Edit 2. I updated it again. Now ForestPack displays colors for scattered items

You, sir, are a genius! Thank you. This should be integrated into ForestPack IMO.
