Any way to extract scatter data?
« on: April 12, 2013, 02:01:00 PM »
Is there any way to extract scatter data from ForestPro, I want to use ForesetPro to scatter objects (simple objects) but I'm going to need a simulation which will require particle simulation, if I could somehow extract the transformation data from ForestPro I could create an initial state for my particle sim and Simulate the animation.

Any way to extract this?

What type of data do you need ?

If that help, you can use Utilities->Forest Tools to create stand-alone objects from the scattered items. From here, should be easy to use them as reference points.

Perfect thanks, just need to allow max to die when it creates 100,000 objects! :)
