Forrest Density One Direction

Creating Leaves against a curb.

I added the density falloff but I cant seem to find a way to make that one direction.  The density seems to go out from the center.  I found a trick to double the width and modify a gradient pattern dimensions so it shows the pattern to only one side... but is there an easy way that I am not seeing.

Density falloff uses the shortest distance to the edge, it's not possible to change that.
But since Exclude areas uses their own falloff, you would use an exclude spline to cut the distribution, while keeping the density in one of the sides. I've attached a sample scene.

Thanks for the response.  I will use that method from now on.
