Author Topic: Handling glass building reflections when assigning a Camera in FPP rollout ?  (Read 1132 times)

When rendering an image of a reflective building which has trees behind the camera, how can one keep those reflections still showing up on the building glass whilst 'hidden' due to a camera having been assigned in the FPP rollout (to keep geometry to a minimum in one's scene) ?

Use "Render Hidden Geometry" ?

Unfortunately there is not solution, except turning off camera clipping, because items are excluded in a stage previous to render, so there is not information about reflections.

You would also try increasing Camera->Back Offset, but the right value must be estimated by trial and error.
