Title: How to create dense grass

Hi.

I am having trouble creating dense enough grass in my scene. I get an error message if i crank the units down and lowering the threshold. Is there another way. I am trying to create a very dense grass plane with thin grass objects.?

When adjusting the units/threshold parameters, you must take care that the density of items in the viewport probably is not the same that rendering, since the number of shown items is limited by Display->Viewport->Max items.

In scenes where is needed to scatter huge areas using tiny objects, sometimes is better to create a grass patch and use it as source object. You can see a sample of this technique in the Realistic Grass tutorial:
