how to paint only one object each single click

Hi everyone. I´ve been trying a lot to use the paint tool to put some trees like "one click= one tree only" but it seems not to work. Enyone can help?

The Paint tool lets you to draw the area, but this area is parametric and the items of them changes with the Distribution parameters (density and so).
To place trees on specific positions, you must switch from "Generate" to "Custom Edit" mode. On this mode, you can place or modify items individually:
