How to get spacing along x evenly
« on: November 03, 2022, 09:48:39 AM »
Hi,

Sorry if this is a very basic question
I tried looking up the forum but was unable to find something relevant

I want to create gaps in a object that I am scattering along x evenly

I tried adding null in Y Evenly but it does not give the result I desire.

Any work around or a relevant tutorial would be great

Thanks in advance...

relevant tutorial:

or try to set some size for Fixed Size Y on the Null segment.

Hi Dragan..

Thank you for the quick reply..  :)

The tutorial does not create horizontal nulls between a X evenly (See attached screenshot)
and I tried what you said about adding y fixed size on null segment.. doesnt work. (See attached screenshot)

Also I am look forward to assign Y size to the same Segment that I will be scattering on X evenly (Blue marking in 1st screenshot)

Can you share a scene and some more info about what you try to achieve?
This vertical division could come from your original Segment which is repeated on the Y-axis so Y evenly doesn`t affect at all if the distance is not right.

Hi Dragan..

Thank you once again.. :D

It was in the size of the main object which I had set to be around 20'
That was the reason I could not achieve this.. (See Screenshot)
I reduced the base size of the object to about 2' and now it works.

Thanks a lot for the replies and interest to solve the problem

Best Regards.
