Wish list dependencies
« on: June 19, 2018, 08:13:59 PM »
Not sure if this is the appropriate place, maybe there is some function or logic that could do this but:

It would be handy to make one forest pack a dependency for another. For example, if I have a mixed forest of hardwood and pine. I have one forest pack containing the both types of trees and two more. One containing the leaves to be on the ground under the hardwoods and another for the pine needles on the ground. I would like the leaves to depend on the hardwoods and pine needles to depend on the pine trees. So if I move a tree or random seed the trees the leaves and pine needles (or whatever you like to imagine) move with the main object. A hierarchy of forest packs. Or perhaps sub groups under one forest pack.

Or perhaps scattered petals under flowers, rocks near certain trees, bugs around lights etc.

Hi, please take to look to this video.
It shows how to create areas dependent of other FP objects, basically what you want to get:

I hope that helps.
