Invalid geometric normal - vray warning
« on: July 25, 2017, 04:57:32 PM »
Dear iToo-Team. Dear users.

Since updating to vray 3.60.02 and Forest Pack 5.4.0 we get strange warnings in the vray message window.

"warning: Invalid geometric normal (0 0 0) for 'Forest_example_name' "
...
..

Has anyone else these problems?

From my point of view it's caused by the collision-feature in the distribution-map tab.
For each skipped object there will be one of these warnings.
So if you have got a large forest with many skipped objects, vray is more or less busy with sending errors.  :o

So what can I do to get rid of this error?

Thank you in advance

Ok.
after updatoing to vray 3.60.03 the problem seems to be solved or not existing any more.
