Title: Is it possible to reduce or increase the ratio of leaves to branches?
Post by: EB1299 on June 13, 2013, 06:04:06 PM
I was hoping to turn the vibrant summer bush model into a wintery plant with barely any leaves on.

Hopefully this is an easy thing to do. I looked through the menus but I couldnt figure it out.

Regards, Jon

Sorry, but what model plant do you refer to ? Forest Pack does not include procedural plants...

in the Forest Pack library, there is a 3D model in the 'HQ Plants Free' called Bush.

Im just wondering if theres any way of 'pruning' it?

Reducing the amount of leaves so we can see more of the branches.

Ok. These models are included as free samples of HQ Plants, by courtesy of 3D Mentor.

You should contact directly with them at www.3dmentor.ru (http://www.3dmentor.ru). Anyway, these plants are not procedural but pure meshes. It is not possible to modify them, except using the original files (which only own 3D Mentor).
