I understand, but for our specific needs, it make sense :
We are a archviz company and we place AXYZ people all over our scene.
They are always hand placed through custom edit, never distributed automatically.
We have a forest pack containing 250+ meshes of persons, each one is HQ as it's the scanned onces from AXYZ.
If we render the forest pack, rams goes quickly over 40Gb because it loads all the meshes even when only 5-10 are used.
That's why it would be great to have a strip to keep only the current geometry, and this option would only be available when FFP is setup as custom edit.
That way, only the 5-10 meshes that are in FPP will be kept. And I can easily delete all the other from the scene, keeping things light and fast.
Make sense?
Thanks
