...due to an object moving across it...so, for example, a car pushing the grass down due to the tyres squashing it?

Hii,

There are several ways how to archive it – you might find interesting the "Striped lawn and ivy (https://www.itoosoft.com/tutorials/tutorial_modernbarn4)" part of our "Rendering a Modern Barn scene with Forest Pack (https://www.itoosoft.com/es/tutorials/modernbarn)" tutorial showing how to use a map to drive "Transforms". Also, you might consider checking the "Animating in Forest Pack (http://www.itoosoft.com/tutorials/tutorial_animation_new)" tutorial where under the Set the starting frame with a map part you can find another suitable solution. Another possibility would be to use the Effects feature - apart from the Effects (https://docs.itoosoft.com/forestpack/forest-plugin/effects) part of our online documentation which includes also some examples (https://docs.itoosoft.com/forestpack/forest-plugin/effects/effects-examples), I would suggest you check our "Introducing Forest Effects (https://www.itoosoft.com/tutorials/introduction-to-effects)" tutorial.

I hope that helps.

Best regards,
