Placing Forest objects - Railclone
« on: April 23, 2014, 10:26:54 PM »
Hello, I am sorry if this has been covered, but I have recently been stumped.

I have a Railclone object that is tree grates.
I want to have ForestPro place one tree centered in each grate.
Is this possible and, if so, please advise a good approach...
Thanks a lot!

well, I found a way that worked...
made a non-renderable poly at each grate and picked that object as the surface, and it worked great.

Yes, this is a way to get it. We have plans to provide some type of link between Forest and RailClone, hopefully it will be available in next releases.
