Paint area turns invisible at certain zoom level
« on: April 20, 2016, 05:22:23 PM »
Hello,

I find that the painted area spline tends to turn invisible when the view's too close. It seems like it has to do with the view being too far from the center of the area, since panning towards the center or zooming out makes it visible again. Is there any workaround to this? I'm using 3ds Max 2014 x64 on Windows 7.

Thanks!

Hi,

I can confirm we can reproduce similar behaviour here in some specific cases (like on very short distances from the object). I'm afraid there isn't much we can do as the Paint Area - Paint Tool is using 3ds Max's Paint Deformation Tool (and its Brush Options), but we'll check what can be done.

Thanks for your feedback, is very important to us.

Best regards,
