I have a weird issue that perhaps you might be able to help with. I have a Windows Server 2019 system that is running several of my licenses, one of which is the Itoosoft Software License Manger. It is serving out multiple Forest Pack Pro and Rail Clone Pro licenses. It usually works fine, however, it will run out of licenses from time to time. If I open the license manager application and view the computers tab, I notice a range of IP addresses that are in the same range as the license server. What is weird is that these cannot be the correct IP addresses, since the IP subnet for the server is ONLY for servers and no workstations existing in that IP range. I usually just manually release the phantom addresses, and all is well, but can somebody explain why this might be happening? Some of the computers listed in the Computers tab are system names and some are IP addresses of systems that I can verify are correct. It is as if the license server is getting a license request and assigning it a phantom address, but then not releasing it.
Thoughts?
