License issues - plain ridiculous!

We have used RC and FP for years now. We dropped off the subs program, but have just renewed most of our licenses.

I have Max2020 installed on my PC at home.
I have downloaded and installed FP (not RC yet).
I enter one of my serial numbers for FP but it tells me they are network licenses.

What do I do to get this working? Spent an hour on this now. This should be simple.

I don't have a separate 'server' as we are all now working remotely.

Why can't things be simple? Pay for software - get a serial - enter serial - job done! Life used to be so much easier.

Hi there is no need for special server PC local PC works fine.
Things are simple with ForestPack when installing it asks what license You want to install network or standalone. Since You have network choose network:

You also need license server You can download from Your products page.

There is a change license mode utility in the start menu so You can change the license type even after plugin installation.
