License Manager Upgrade

We currently are running License Manager version 1.4.2 with all of our network licenses installed there. We need to upgrade to License Manager 1.5 to support the new Forest Pack. I'm curious what the License Manager upgrade procedures are, hadn't been able to find that in the Knowledge Base anywhere.

Specifically, I'm wondering if I run the 1.5 installer now, does it keep the existing license configurations seamlessly? Or will the new version's licenses list be empty and I need to reinstall them each individually? Trying to determine how much out a license outage I need to plan for.

Hi.
License server is fully backwards compatible, all licenses will remain in License Manager.
Anyway if You encounter any issues, let us know and we will help.

Perfect, thank you! Upgraded easily and no issues. I see now had I actually tried to run the installer you have a dialog exactly explaining "Your licenses and activations will be preserved during the process" haha! I was just too cautious to try running it to see that until I confirmed
