What is the final polycount of my scene?
« on: October 12, 2022, 07:05:27 PM »
I am rendering a huge mining mountainside, how can i see what the final polycount of the render is?

Uses Rail clone, forest pack, and tons of vray proxies, but i cant seem to find anywhere how to determine the rendertime polycount of this monster.

Any ideas.  Viewport polycount doesnt update in IPR, with VRay proxies or forest pack.

Nothing in vray stamps or render log either.

Ideas appriciated.

Hi,

Well, in the case of “instanced” geometry, such a value doesn’t really matter. The amount of statistical data will depend on the render engine used – for example, in the case of the V-Ray, you can see corresponding info within the V-Ray Frame Buffer window’s Stats tab under Scene > Primitives (you might find handy also the Memory tracking statistics).

I hope that helps.

Best regards,
