Facing camera faces 180 the wrong way!
« on: December 10, 2012, 03:18:17 PM »
I'm looking for some guidance- we are using Forest pro to distribute 3d people models.
When using faces camera it works beautifully Except- they all face 180 the wrong way.
Any ideas how I can flip them?

Thanks!

Probably the Pivot point of the model is not oriented to the right way.

Please, rotate the object using Adjust Pivot->Affect Object only. That should solve the problem.

Thanks for your reply,
I tried editing the pivot and it seems to have no effect- please see attached screen shot of a test scene

When I adjust parameters such as radius there is instant feedback to the Forest pack objects but none with pivot. Even here with pivot upside down.

Please tell me where Im going wrong!

Thanks again,
Simon

I found that rotating the reference models works so  I suppose that'll nullify the question.
thanks anway!

Yes, the key is to use Adjust Pivot->Affect object only, which is slightly different to Affect Pivot only.
