Title: Max 2009 and Network Rendering

Hi,

I am trying to setup a render farm with Forest Pro 3.02b and 3ds Max 2009 32-bit.

I have copied the relevant files to the relevant folders as instructed in the manual (i.e ForestPackPro.dlo, FShader.mi, FShader3.dll, Distribution Maps and Tree maps), and I keep getting an error message saying 'Error reading configuration of ForestPack (Registry/MainDir). Please, reinstall the software'

I only copied the files across, as I did for Forest 2 (which was always successful) - not installing them from the executable.

Is there anything I am missing?

I think these late nights are getting to me!

I was trying to open a max file on a slave machive (ie. did not have the license installed) - hence the error.

As a rendering slave - it works just file copying the files across to the relevant folders.
