Title: max 2012 iray crash forest pack 3.5.1.b

well the title says it already. when I render in normal mental ray it works fine. but when i switch on iRay max crashe big time. no warning or what so ever.

Please, try setting Display->Render->Mode to "Meshes". Anyways, it can be used only with billboards or low-poly meshes, because IRay has not support for external plugins (required to implement the instancing of high-poly objects).

We will modify the plugin to set this mode automatically when using IRay.
