Problem with mesh
« on: July 02, 2013, 05:44:45 PM »
HI. I have made a plane and convertet the plane to a mesh and used the paint deformation in 3ds max to create hills and so on.

When I render with a forest preset  turned on, nothing is showing.

When I create a normal plane and then assign a forest preset it is working fine.

What is the problem.??

I found out why... It is because the mesh is -0,7 meter below 0,0,0 why is that a problem.??

The position of the mesh should not be a problem. Please, post a test scene and we will check it.

I try to isolate the mesh and forest objects. and now it renders fine. so it must be a issue with memory in the scene.

I have quite many objects in scene.

I have solved the problem..

It was a very heavy texture which caused the problem. Everything is fine now..
