nested forest packs
« on: February 28, 2023, 12:46:38 PM »
I've used FP to scatter some boxes on a wall, and want to use these scattered boxes to scatter plants on them.

However, FP won't work if I use a FP object as a scatter base. I was hoping I could add an Edit-poly modifier on the stack but this isn't possible.
I had to convert it completely into an Editable mesh, and loose all the advantages of a procedural system.

Is there a workaround, enabling me to keep this modular?

cheers,
David

Hi,

Changing the Render Mode for used "nested object(s)" from Automatic to Meshes under the Display roll-out should do the trick.

Best regards,

Yep it does the trick. BUT please make it get shown immediately in the viewport out of the box not after running IPR.
