Network Licence usage
« on: September 25, 2014, 10:04:24 AM »
Hi,

We have two Forest Pro Network Licences.

I have a question. If I am working in a maxfile and just want to render a scene that has a forest object in it, but both licences are being used by other people, i get a message saying there are no licences available and consequently the forest objects don't render.

I understand why this doesn't work, but i wondered why it's setup like this. I just want to render a few tests locally, whilst others are working on the forest setups, i don't need to edit the forest objects.

The only way to get it to work is to send it to the network to render, but our rendering queue at the moment is doing some final renders for another project.

Is there a way i can locally render, whilst in 3dsMax, without needing a licence?

Cheers,

iToo_Butler.

You can create "batch" render and render without license.
