Quick Way to Tweak Colours of Presets
« on: September 30, 2019, 12:37:55 PM »
Hi

I'm using a grass preset and generally it's grand but I want to make very basic tweaks to the colours and brightness. What is the quickest way to do this without getting into the shaders?

I'm also a bit confused by the shaders - when I make an instance of the shader and start tweaking it, it will revert back to the original settings - is there a correct workflow for making small changes/tweaks?

Thanks,
N

Regarding second part of the question.

If You do changes to Your local scene, original references are not changed. They are stored in material files, like this:
%localappdata%\Itoo Software\Forest Pack Pro\lib\Presets\Layered_Lawns\matlibs
If You modified these files, then modifications would be inherited in all presets going forward. (though they will be overwritten again with our library version on next Update Manager update)

Hope that is what You asked for. If not, please specify question a bit more and we will try to help You.
