One computer can't get a license.

We have one workstation on our network that suddenly has started being unable to grab a Forest Pack Pro license from the license server. Other computers can get a license just fine, even over VPN.

We get this error:


We have reinstalled Forest Pack Pro 612, rebooted, disabled firewalls/anti-virus etc. Nothing works. The license server is assigned by IP, and the license server log shows no attempts at grabbing a license from this computer.

Any ideas, short of reinstalling everything?

Just to add to the confusion here, the V-ray licenses on the same server are served just fine to the computer.

Hi,

Sorry to hear, you're facing these troubles. Because of the WSAETIMEDOUT 10060 Connection timed out (A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or the established connection failed because the connected host has failed to respond) error you get, it looks like a connection problem (most probably caused by a firewall/anti-virus blocking it).

Please, double check again all firewall/anti-virus solutions you are using - the port 16720 on your license server & all involved computers have to be open both for TCP and UDP.
