overlapping items
« on: March 09, 2023, 11:30:37 AM »
Hi all,

I'm trying to do something like the attached image.
Also attached the first test, it looks OKish from a distance but it's not suitable for close-ups, the "coins" are overlapping.

Any idea how to achieve this effect?

I don't think this can be easily implemented with FP. It requires collision detection. You can certainly do it in tyFlow. Or simply try rotating the objects using a bitmap and tweaking that bitmap until the result is at least satisfactory.

thanks, that's what I thought, I guess it would be easy to do it with Houdini too.
Oh well, I will figure it out.
