Override Dist. Map Scale?

Hi

How can I fit a custom map to the area I I am using for the forest ? (like UVW Fit)
In the attached image I am trying to fit a custom map to the area marked as B Which is the total area but as you can see  many areas like A are spread all over . I tried playing with the mapping channel but nothing happenned.

Procedural maps take mapping from the UVW coordinates of the surface. Please check this:

1) The channel number is defined at Distribution->Map Channel (same value is used for all areas).
2) If you modify the surface, click Surface->Refresh button to reload it.

I just test it, and seems to work fine.
