Paint areas does not work

Hi.

I am just testing your feature with painting areas with objects. And I cannot see the paint area (spline and objectslike in you video turorial.

What can be the problem with my settings??

The Paint tool requires a valid surface to work. Please, be sure you have a surface assigned, it is correct (not flipped normals and so), and you are painting inside the surface's limits.

If this is not the cause, please try to reproduce the problem in a basic test scene, and send it to us.

Thanks for the scene. In this case, the brush size is too small for the scene's dimension. Just set it using the brush settings, as shown in the image.

It seems Max sets the default brush size according to the scene units (millimeters here), so it was tiny.
