Title: Painting one object per click
Post by: EH2026 on March 20, 2024, 11:31:10 AM
Hi guys,

Do you know of a simple way whereby you can paint one object per click ?

I simply want to paint one flower at a time whever I click, I want to do this under FP and not using 3dmsax's paint tool.

Many thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason,

For these purposes, there's the Add button under the Items Editor (https://docs.itoosoft.com/forestpack/forest-plugin/item-editor#to-manually-add-individual-scatter-items) rollout, which creates individual items by clicking in the scene. To use it, you must be at the Trees sub-object level - to access the sub-object level, you can use the Modify Stack Display on the Modify panel, or by clicking the "tree icon".

I hope that helps.

Best regards,
