Pivot points
« on: January 12, 2018, 05:36:51 PM »
I am having issues with using things like curbs and sidewalks. It seems that the pivot points don't work with a normal workflow and go in the wrong direction. I know I can reverse my spline, but then things go backward. Something like curbs probably should sweep along the top right, so it goes nicely along a curb outline, however, it sweeps from the center. Sidewalks work opposite, too. If needed I can record my screen.

Hi,

Thanks for the question. Those style should have a Y Offset parameter that allows you to adjust the way the curb sits on the spline. If for some reason this wasn't working or you wanted to make a permanent change you could also open the style editor and for each segment change the Alignment > Y option to Top.

I hope that help, please let me know if you have any further questions,

Paul

Yes, 0'9.8" works for the Y offset. Thank you!
