Vray 3.0 and Forest plane
« on: February 20, 2014, 03:07:47 PM »
Hello,
I'm using forest 4.2.0b and vray 3.00.01.
When I render my forest plane library , it doesn't work anymore with those versions. I can see my forest in the viewport, but it only render the alpha channel. The diffuse is invisible.
Can you tell me why?
Thank you
¨Pierre

Be sure you use VRayMtl for your materials (directly or as base material in Forest Material). Standard materials are being deprecated in V-Ray 3.

You can use Material->Optimize Materials to convert them, including your material libraries (new in FP 4.2.0b).
