placement by material id?
« on: July 21, 2014, 07:12:04 PM »
I may have missed this, but is there a way to make FPP only place objects on a specific material i.d.? (For example, Autograss has this capability.)
I have a terrain mesh  that has multiple materials and only one gets the Forest...

Thanks in advance TL1895

Okay, I'll take that as a "No."

Well, i had no time to reply. :)

Not in the current version, but this feature is already implemented for the upcoming FP 4.3 beta. The Surface selector is added in the Area settings, so you can limit by one or multiple IDs by area.

Well, I certainly am looking forward the next update then...what a major improvement (imo.)
Thanks a lot,
