Please can you explain in plain English what the Threshold is for ??

I've played with it, I've looked it up on the reference guide, I've hovered my cursor over it in the Distribution Map rollout, but I still don't really know what it does.

Please can you explain so that even I can understand !

It works as a contrast parameter for the distribution map. Lower values increase the density of the map (more white pixels), and higher values decrease it.

The Threshold has no effect on the "Full" map because all pixels are full white.
