Preset Material

I just spend 1/2 hour twice, creating a custom grass texture, however, the material keeps resetting. What's up with that?

Have you assigned the material directly to the Forest object ?

If so, that is not the right procedure. The material must be assigned to the Custom Object or defined in Geometry->Material, because it would be one material for each geometry.

I tried several ways. Even if I change the Forest Pro diffused, it changes it back to the default.

There is not any reason that would cause that behaviour. Forest builds its own multi-sub material, collecting the materials defined in the Geometry list, but doesn't modify them.

Please, send us a test scene and tell me what steps do you follow exactly. Thanks.
